Why Link Edge?
Because you want edging perfection! Link Edge let's you design and shape your garden, pavers, driveways and other outdoor areas anyway you want. Link Edge is visually appealing, and has many other advantages over other edging techniques.
- Cement : It's a crack-up! Plus expensive to install, maintain and the looks? Hmm…
- Wood : Rots, attracts pests and treated wood can contain nasty chemicals.
- Plastic : Fades, cracks and do you really want that breaking down in your garden?
- Steel : Rusts, develops sharp edges and is difficult to design with.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Step 1
Clear the area, compact and level the base surface.

Step 2
Place a length of Link Edge on the surface in the desired shape and position.

Step 3
Starting at one end, half-hammer edge spikes into the pre-punctured holes in the Link Edge. Ensure the edge spikes are only half inserted into the surface.

Step 4
Four spikes are recommended for every three metre length, however, more may be required in pivotal areas and at points where a bend or
curve is desired.

Step 5
If any additional lengths are required, slide a fishplate connector into the second Link Edge length.

Step 6
Snap the second length to the fishplate connector to create a smooth, uninterrupted edge.

Step 7
Ensure the position of the Link Edge is correct. If it needs to be repositioned, remove the edge spikes that had been half-hammered into the base surface and alter the position.

Step 8
When using Heavy Duty Link Edge slide the guide into the slot, and place the spike through the guide and then the Link Edge so it will not buckle. Always install Spike Guides with edge spike hole towards the bottom of the spike guide.

Step 9
Once satisfied with the position, firmly hammer the spikes into the ground.

Step 10
Fill each side of the Link Edge with the desired surface.

Step 11
Enjoy your new landscaped area.
